Minutes of the Sherwood Lakes Homeowners Association Meeting

The scheduled meeting of the Sherwood Lakes Homeowners Association was held on this 15th of September, this year. The meeting was led by HOA President Jones, with attendance of homeowners in participation.

After call to order, the minutes from the previous meeting were considered and approved with a few amendments.

  • Ms. Jones, gave a concise financial overview outlining the current situation of the homeowner association's funds.
  • Several homeowners raised issues regarding recent developments in the neighborhood, including the proposed playground construction and traffic maintenance.
  • Association members addressed the homeowner's queries, providing clarifications about the projects.

Concluding the dialogue, the meeting was adjourned. The next HOA meeting is scheduled for October , 2023.

Suggested Amendments to Sherwood Lakes Covenants

The Board of Directors is currently discussing several proposed amendments to the existing covenants for Sherwood Lakes. These proposed modifications are designed to improve the value of life for all residents while resolving ongoing concerns and encouraging a thriving community.

  • Among the proposed amendments are regulations related to yard maintenance, sound restrictions, and vehicle placement.
  • The HOA encourages all residents to study the proposed amendments carefully and submit their comments by August 15th.
  • A community forum will be held on September 8th to examine the proposed amendments in more depth.

Sherwood Lakes Garden Initiative

Our passionate community members are coming together to make Sherwood Lakes a more beautiful place to live. The Beautification Project aims to enhance the visual appeal of our community by adding flowers, cleaning up public areas, and supporting a sense of belonging.

We're consistently working on numerous projects, including the renewal of our lakefront area. We invite you to participate in making Sherwood Lakes a truly wonderful place to call home.

Sherwood Lakes HOA Board Election Updates

Greetings residents of Sherwood Lakes! The annual election for the Homeowner’s Association (HOA) board is quickly approaching. This year, we encourage all homeowners to get involved in shaping the future of our community by casting their vote.

The election will here be held on Wednesday, October 25th, with voting taking place from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Sherwood Lakes Community Center.

A list of those vying for positions and their platforms will be made available on the HOA website and distributed via email/sent to residents in a packet by October 1st. For any questions or concerns regarding the election process, please reach out to the HOA management company. We look forward to a successful and transparent election!

Sherwood Lakes Safety Initiative for Sherwood Lakes Residents

Enhance the safety and security of our vibrant community with a dedicated Neighborhood Watch program. Via unitedly participating, residents can help deter crime, watch over one another's properties, and foster a more secure sense of community. Meetings will be held regularly to discuss.

  • Become part of the Neighborhood Watch program and make a difference.
  • Be aware on safety tips and crime prevention strategies.
  • Alert authorities promptly to help maintain our community's safety.
